Protection Auto only uses FLUID FILM®. The worldwide standard for corrosion control and trusted by the US Military for applications on trucks, ships and tanks. FLUID FILM is solvent free, nontoxic, nonhazardous consisting of an all natural lanolin base.
WILL FLUID FILM REMOVE RUST?
FLUID FILM® is not formulated to remove rust. However, if applied over existing rust, it will stop it immediately from spreading further. FLUID FILM will penetrate rust and rust scale to the base metal, loosening and easing in the removal process.
HOW DOES FLUID FILM WORK?
FLUID FILM® protects all known metals by creating a non-drying barrier that seals out moisture and air. With the FLUID FILM® barrier in place, existing rust will be stopped on contact, and new rust and corrosion cannot develop. FLUID FILM® penetrates to the base metal, remaining active and migrating to inaccessible areas.
